As a busy mom (and who isn’t?), I’m always looking for tools and sites that simplify my life. With the craziness of our daily schedules and life with kids, if I can get help with just one task, I can shave minutes off my projects – possibly giving me a chance to take a little Mom-Me time.
And like the awesome gal pal I am, I’m sharing a recent discovery that will save you time. I recently learned about Visa Checkout – an all new payment experience that makes online shopping simpler. It’s fast easy and secure. Visa Checkout lets you pay with any major credit card without typing in your checkout information or sharing your full card number when you pay.
I don’t know about your kids, but my boys are really hard on their shoes. I didn’t have the energy or desire to hit the local mall to shop for shoes with the post holiday crowds, so I did the next best thing – shopped online. I went to ShoeBuy.com and purchased both boys a pair of Converse Chuck Taylors and an additional pair of athletic shoes. I saved time by shopping online and using Visa Checkout. I can even do it from my smartphone!
Here’s how it works:
- Sign up and store your shipping preferences.
- Add one or more credit or debit cards in your Visa Checkout account.

- When you’re shopping online and ready to pay, just click on the Visa Checkout button. Enter your email and password and choose which card and shipping address you want to use, click pay and you’re done!
You only need to enter your personal details once. Thank goodness for that, because with the extra minutes I save and add together, I can read an article in a magazine, play a game of Uno with my boys, or text a gal pal.
