Looking for the perfect frugal date night in the merriest (and possibly the most expensive) time of the year?
Have a fabulous night in your city to check out all the holiday lights and decorations!
My hubs and I bundled up in our winter garb, went to our local coffee house (O’Henry’s Coffee in Homewood, Alabama), and grabbed some coffee to drive around our favorite neighborhoods to look at beautifully lit homes and shopping areas. I was super excited to try the new Vanilla Creme Brûlée coffee. It made the perfect companion for our drive through our city streets! The hubs and I put on Christmas music and ooh’ed and aah’ed over lights, lit snowflakes, wreaths, Santas, nativity scenes and more.
During this time of year, it’s so easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of giving and receiving gifts, wrapping gifts, baking, and holiday parties.
Take an hour out of your busy schedule to enjoy each other on a low key date. This was just what Santa ordered for a lovely night together during such a hectic time of year.
I hope you and your beau can do the same thing this season, because after all, we are truly too blessed to be stressed.
