Mothers work hard – whether it’s at home or in the workplace. March 8 is International Women’s Day. Annually on this day, events are held throughout the world to inspire women and celebrate achievements. Research from Accenture – a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company – shows that women say the most important factor for work-life balance is flexibility in the workplace.
The Defining Success research found that the majority of today’s working women would prefer a better work-life balance to an increased salary. One of the most important contributors to work-life balance identified by the survey was flexibility, with 80% of women saying that having a flexible work schedule is either very important or extremely important to their career success.
